Friday:
Ten 3/4 back extensions on the GHD (didn't want to fully tighten my lower back)

5 minute row: Set a personal distance record of 1170 meters
(haven't done much "set time" for distance rowing, so PR's are probably easier right now... most of the rowing I've done is "set distance" for time.

Aleve and Icy Hot are still really good friends... lower back is extremely tight... but I'm trying to remain active. The rowing doesn't seem to bother my back at all (with a tightly locked core), but keeps the rest of my body moving.
 
Saturday 9/5 - Elliptical (31 minutes) - 2.44 miles and just over 365 calories. Was feeling kind of under the weather. :(

Sunday 9/6 - Still feeling 'off.' Rest.
 
Monday 9/7 - Elliptical (60 minutes) - Just under 4.7 miles and approximately 692 calories.

Tuesday 9/8 - No AM workout. Got up and was sore. Going to do pilates this evening when I get home in order to relaaaxxxx!
UPDATE: Pilates done. So nice.

10 GHD Situps
PVC Shoulder Stretches (rotate front, overhead, back)
10 Overhead Squats 45#

Workout:
100 meter rowing sprints (x4): 20s, 18s, 18s, 18s
250 meter rowing sprint 43 seconds

I just love sprinting workouts! :coolingoff:

8/5 diving (steel tanks, long surface swim, drysuit)
8/6 tired after diving - rest
8/7 diving
8/8 back/bi/abs

Lifting to 90% of max (4 sets each /8-12 reps)
seated rows
lat pull downs

straight bar curls
dumbell curls
hammer curls

3 sets 45 crunches
2 sets 15 back extentions
 
Wednesday 9/9 - Elliptical (15 minutes) - 1.19 miles and approximately 180 calories. Treadmill (C25K - Walk/Run - 30 minutes) - 1.80 miles and approximately 255 calories.
 
Thursday 9/10 - Pilates DVD (25 minutes) - approximately 135 calories. Woke up late this morning and didn't have enough time to make it to the gym so I stayed home and did a DVD. Will try to take a walk this evening if there is time.
 
8/9 rest day
8/10 new 21W HID light ;-) & burn time test caught my attention instead of the gym - 20 minute walk up/down hills

Tomorrow back to the weights & cardio
