Hey

Just a heads up- MotoGP is on in monterey next weekend, so expect some heavy traffic. Not sure how it affects access to Macabee beach though- anyone remember from last time?

Conditions were great yesterday, and there were more dolphins in the bay, just off breakwater. they hung around for about an hour swimming around the kayaks and jumping. The baby one was trying out some pirouetes, which was neat. We were hangingout there for lunch after a dive at Pt Lobos

I only got one dive in at Pt Lobos, since i had an ear issue develop on the ascent, but it is an awesome site. Tons of structure and kelp. Surface was dead calm and vis was somewhere around 30 feet. Saw the finest looking hermisenda crassicornis- about and inch and half long and vibrant. perfect looking specimen. No pictures though, because im a bit over protective and tend not to bring it on dive one, until i know how the conditions are. Should have realised when i saw an anenome and a starfish stuck to a rock about 6 inches under the surface right at the ramp- would have made a perfect over/under.

anyways, just a heads up on next weekend, so people can plan accordingly.

I am either going to park at El Torito (if they are offering all day parking that day) or at the lot across the street .... see the diagram on the link on the 1st post. :)
