You are entitled to your opinion, of course, but what you have been posting and what I have seen on the NHC website are saying the same thing. There is more detail and more pretty colors in what you have posted, but as far as conveying information which is useful to me about active storms, the NHC site is plenty good enough. It is definitely not junk; to be junk it would have to be predicting incorrect storm paths, but it doesn't.
I'll just add that the more detailed reports that show where the remnant clouds and rain will likely go after a storm dissipates do not provide information that is useful or even interesting to me. Likewise, the "spaghetti bowl" predictions which show a bazillion possible storm tracks when different methods of modeling are applied do not show me anything that I would act on. The NHC website is simple, easy to understand, and plenty accurate for my needs.

Ignorance is bliss, I suppose.

For many years I have gotten all the information I want or need about hurricane predicted paths from the NHC website and it has been plenty accurate every time. You apparently need to see something different, so look wherever you want, I care not.

I could tell you what you can do with that condescending attitude, but I will refrain. :D

Chances up a little in the western Caribbean.
That disturbance just north of Panama has been there for several days and not doing much of anything. I hope it will keep doing the same. Still, that part of the Caribbean has spawned a lot of tropical activity this year, so I will keep watching it as well as the one just east of the Dominican Republic. The season is winding down now but the waters in the Caribbean and the Gulf are still very warm.

The NHC has upgraded the 7 day prediction of cyclone development for Disturbance 1 to 70% probability and amended its direction of drift from 'northward' to 'northward or northwestward'.

Cozumel Island is certainly on a possible path...
