Where is this place (South bay?)? And I have a rescue class till about 3 or 4pm in Malibu... will anybody be diving after 5ish?

Hi Ken,
They don't have grills in the picnic area, but if someone wants to bring one, that would be great. I am bringing my propane stove.

Thanks, Rick. I was trying to figure out what entree we would have. I can bring some hotdogs and buns too if we have a stove to cook. Or, if we need drinks, I can bring soda and ice. Either is easy of me.

I'm finally free to dive again so I can make this dive/picnic. I've been remodeling my bathroom and I finally have enough done to keep my wife happy. And I need to keep her happy because she is taking me to Cozumel in two weeks. I've only been out 3 times this year, all boat trips. I haven't gone beach diving since the Dec. picnic with the Deer Creek/Leo Carrillo dives. I need a couple good hour long soaks in the water to get all this drywall dust out of my body!

I can bring potato salad and macaroni salad. And I'll bring ketchup, mustard, relish and onions for the hot dogs. And I've permanently "borrowed" from work one of those thermal 12 cup pump carafes. I'll bring it filled with hot water, with cups and packets of hot chocolate and cider. Before the first dive I'll set it all in the bed of my truck and anyone can help themselves to a hot drink after the first dive to help take that morning chill off.

Who's coming solo? I'll need a buddy.

Check the 1st post in this thread. Confirm you are on the list, what you are bringing, and # of people coming with you. If it is right, cool, if not, let me know, so I can post it. We need a pretty accurate head count for food and beverages.

I can never remember is it meet at 8AM or be ready to dive at 8AM? I prefer meet at 8AM, but whatever you regular Beach Crabs do is fine with me.
