You have couple of choices, but my recommendation is Green Force. They have HID and LED and everything is interchangeable and it's bullet proof. The 10 Watt HID is great, VERY bright and I picked it up for under $800 fully loaded with goodman handle. www.green-force.com

Don't waste you $. I have an Apollo and I love it. I dive with full tech gear (twin 120's w/ stages and it motors just fine. It also toes my buddy with the same set up with no reduction in speed. it's rate I beleive it only rated to 130' but I like it.

Awsome lights, the best out there. They are modular and I often swap out my light head depending on howmuch light I need. Built better than anything out there. I am completly satisfied.

I dive with HP twin 120's I use the S600 as my primary and back up, love them and the G250 on my stages, all regs are DIN. The G250 breathes as good as th S600's, I like the S600's b/c they are smaller

If you have not made up your mind just yet...I own the Manta spring straps. They work very well and if you have any sizing issues, you can call them up and deal with them directly. They have all the sizing on their website, www.mantaindustries.com

I have both the 10 & 21 watt and I know divers with the OMS 10w. I find that hard to believe. Most MGF's use the same 10watt bulbs anyway and if that is the case it isn't true b/c the 21 watt totally out shines the 10 and the 10watt is bright.

Hey Big Jay, Great Isaac is a good choice. If you like muscle, there are plenty. Pull them off the highest point. There are some nice wreck to the north, the Mohawk is a nice shallow one in 80ft.

Hey... I give you credit for tring, but when you weigh everything out, cost, time, having it work, why bother. Don't get me wrong, I lke DYI too. I don't know the type of diving you do, but you might consider the safty factor. Just my 2 breaths.

Have you looked into some of the smalled canister lights? most have 4.5 ah and you can get 4 hours burn from a 10watt HID. You will pay more for it than the UK light canon, but I would go with a small canister light.
