Here's a link to a map of the park. Click on any of the rectangles to see the camp sites. You can also reserve online, and check availability. I've never stayed there, so someone will have to decide what's the best location and we can all go nuts.

Ok this is how the camp site kind of works...

You reserve by phone or internet...You are reserving a spot...You do not actaully reserve a particular place that is done when you get there you look for open spots ( i am sure there will be some next to each other)

I am going to camp sat and sun . I just remembered that i have no school on monday so i will stay sunday night too

I am reserving my spot tomorrow

Looks like this might be a wrinkles dive that we can come to. My wife and
I have a party to go to that evening, but we can make the morning dives. Sounds like fun!

For those of you looking for food on Saturday afternoon, it's worth a trip to Neptune's Net. Neptune's Net is north of Leo Carillo a few miles and serves delicious fried seafood. It's perfect after a long dive looking at fish. On weekends, the bikers who cruise PCH stop there for their lunch. Lots of nice bikes to check out.

Unfortunately, I don't think that Malibu Divers will meet our tank filling needs. Last time we were in the area looking for a fill, it took almost half an hour to fill our two tanks. Their compressor is pretty flaky and supposedly isn't up to filling more than one tank at a time. They had to fill each of our E8-119s individually. If you were going to bring a bunch of tanks there for fills, I'd be sure to let them know ahead of time so they can have any banks they have charged full. Sport Chalet in Oxnard has a better compressor. The scuba section of the Oxnard SC is probably bigger than Malibu Divers' entire shop.

It looks like the only sites with Fire Pit, BBQ and Picnic Table are the group sites. Those seem to be Sites 31 - 49. I think that when you reserve them they are different than the non-group sites.

Do you know if this is right?

I think we should all just share.

I have not reserved a site yet, but would be happy to do that as soon as I get the details figured out. I'll probably just call them tomorrow an ask a few questions. I want to be sure that we can get sites with everything we need.

Depending on how many other people are spending the night, we probably only need 2 or 3 sites. If Ana gets one and I get one, we may not need any more. We can all just split the costs once we get there.

All of my camping equipment is designed to backback in the snow, so I'll be warm.
