OK, since the dates and location for the December Wrinkles Dive are now set, I've started this new thread for planning purposes.

I'll keep updating this first post as a synopsis of the info in this thread and will include links to the other Wrinkles threads for easy reference. I'll also provide links from here for threads about future Wrinkles Dives.

When: Saturday, Dec. 18 and Sunday, Dec. 19
Where: Leo Carrillo

What is the Wrinkles Dive?

This is a monthly gathering of all divers and non-divers in SoCal who can make it. It's a lot of fun involving diving, eating, socializing and now even camping!

It all started when our SoCal member, Wrinkles, mentioned to a group that she dove with that it would be really fun to be able to get together at least once a month. Pasley, took off with the idea and announced the first "Wrinkles Dive". The rest is history!

It's open to everyone of all skill levels from "I'm not certified yet" to "Do we really have to dive the Andrea Doria again?"

We've found this to be a great way to meet our fellow divers locally and many new dive buddies have been found though these "dive soirees".

The calender link isnt working Christian
Try it again Ana. I just clicked on it and it took me to the Wrinkles event on the Calendar.

Christian

The link takes me to the calendar BUT there is no place to RSVP. If I remember correctly, it needs to be enabled by the originator. That would be you, Christian!

Ahh! I didn't understand that part! I just thought that she wasn't getting to the Calendar via the link.

I've fixed it. So, you can sign up now.

Thanks.

OK - I RSVP'd... but I will not be staying overnight, and am probably coming Sunday only, if you guys stay and dive on Sunday...

Question on the BBQ items then, is that for Saturday during the day? Saturday evening? We should decide so that people know if they need to bring something depending on their own schedule.

I'm thinking that we should BBQ on two days. I'm just not sure about the layout there.

In fact, I'm wondering about the possibilities for dinner.

desert camel:
Info needed for Leo Carrillo, since I am still new to this area. Thanks.
I'll try to find some good info that we could link to. Maybe someone can post a good source and I could add that to the first post.
