Just too many other things crowding for attention this weekend to take a chance given the current forecast. I have a Saturday Lobos reservation up for grabs now. The wave height predictions were spotty in the last couple of days, but the buoy seems to be updating. Unfortunately, the news hasn't gotten any better:

Nasty colds are definitely afoot. I've had a few friends come down with them. I've been taking my vitamins religiously to help prevent getting sick.

Oh there's nothing "pending" about this cold. It's been with me since Monday. I was just trying to wait it out and see if it would clear quickly - no such luck.
