Kids hauling tanks = good. :D
putting kids to work is always a good thing! see you all saturday!:D

Just an FYI - at this point, plans are still moving forward for the M&G, I am just being quiet. :D (Yeah, I know. Me? Quiet? Well, stranger things have happened!!)

I plan on going to Monterey and attempting to dive Lobos Sat even if the conditions don't look great. Although, thunderstorms might change my mind. I'm still chanting to the weather gods but they don't seem to be listening. :(

.SAT...NW WINDS 20 TO 30 KT. WIND WAVES 4 TO 6 FT.
W SWELL 12 TO 14 FT. CHANCE OF SHOWERS. SLIGHT CHANCE OF
THUNDERSTORMS.

sounds like it'll be exciting!

I am going to watch the forecast until late Thursday and then decide whether to come or not. I have to work until 12:30am Saturday, and I'm only interested in getting up at 5am if the diving has a chance of being good. Not that I don't love you all. . .

If Anne and I don't come we'll know by Thursday night, and I'll release my reservation to anyone who wants it. ISTR I did this last time we planned a Lobos dive :-(

Hey folks,

Just a few reminders about Pt Lobos...

- Carpool if you can. Parking can be limited. I will sometimes meet folks at the Black Bear Diner in Carmel right up the road and load gear into my car there. Haven't gotten towed yet, but that is no guarantee.
- Even if you don't carpool, have your buddy in line with you or they wont let you in.
- Bring your C-card or they wont let you in
- Bring enough air to cover all of the dives you want to do. There is no place there for a fill
- Bring food if you want to eat between dives
- It costs $10 per car to get in, even though you have already paid your dive reservation fee
- Don't walk off the trails. There is a TON of poison oak out there.
- Be careful on the ramp getting in and out of the water. It can be really slippery.

um.. yeah, that should just about cover it.
