Back from vacation :depressed:

I walked every day on the cruise. Did two dives in Cabo San Lucas. To round out the daily exercise, I did a Yoga Class and a pilates class. It was a blast. Took a walk around the neighborhood today for 25 minutes. Tomorrow, back to work!

today was 6am cario session and it was TOUGH... but i survived (barely)

now to work on eating a bit better - i forgot my brekkie this morning so i didnt eat until 2pm and by that time i was so hungry i went to the nearest drive thru :shakehead:

After spending most of the day watching football:happyjazz: I got up and went for 8k/ 5 miles run again. Felt little bit better then yesterday.
To Scuba Jenny. I got a custom made orthotics a few years ago and it did help me in the way that a can run more without getting injured and my back is fine, even when I haul around my steal 100 doubles (knocking on the wood).:smash:

Wish I was up to 5 mi. I have managed to do that once, last fall, and it about killed me! I am hoping the orthotics will really help, and my overall performance will improve.
This morning I managed to crawl out of bed and hit the pavement for 2 miles. It felt so good to be out and running again in the cool morning. Now to ice that foot....

6 out of 7 days the last week. Found a great Yoga core training DVD that kicks my butt, mixed that with power walks and nasty 30 min pushup, squat, dip and lunge routine (4 sets). Feel like I'm a little ahead of where I wanted to be (Jan goal of being in shape to do a meaningful workout).

This week I'm going to mix in one of those Taebo DVDs for cardio (expecting a serious cold snap so outside is going to be a non-starter).

btw...after having a netflix subscription for about 4 years, I've finaly found it's best use. I started getting the excercise DVDs that I would never have bought because I'll get bored of them, rotate them every week or so, if you realy like a couple you can buy them.

Yes - 30-minutes a day it is.
The basic guidelines, information about aerobic and weight training workouts and training tools may be helpful with your SB challenge.

OK... I failed today. No workout, just walking around campus for maybe 20 minutes total sporadic throughout the day and my 10 minutes of ab stuff at home. First day back to school in 3 weeks. :depressed: I strongly dislike the end of winter break!

However, I did go shopping and got all fresh veggies, fruit, meat, eggs, yogurt, and milk. Got home and boiled 18 eggs, then peeled them, cut up the fruit and veggies and put into containers for food on the go... so I will eat healthy, nothing processed or drive through this week! :)

Hmmm.... come to think of it, doesn't cutting and cleaning have some type of cardio or muscle wellness???

you didnt fail SoCal, you just took an easy day (and still got some walking in) and we need those days as it cant be go go go all the time :hugs:

this morning was 6am weight training and we used resistance bands so im sure im going to feel it in my arms later

dinner last night was sushi and some salad (its gonna be over 100f again here today) so taking it a meal at a time :bounce2:

good going everyone!
