I dive LP95s and I was just thinking:no:..... When the DM says back on the boat with 750LB on your gage they are usually dealing with HP80s and 3000PSI tanks. My LPs are full with 2400 PSI so when I am back on the boat with 750, I have just over half used tanks. Does anyone know of a formula for...
OK here's one for all the Bonaire Divers. on 7-5-09 my wife lost a white gold and diamond "Dolphin" wrap (ring), she thinks at Angel City during our entry, but the tittle has the other dives we did that day. It has blue diamonds in it for eyes. It was her anniversary gift a few years ago on one...
Flooded my camera and now I am wondering if one of the newer sealife models will work in my housing.
I haven't figured out if it was due to dirt or a failed o-ring yet but the housing appears to be in one piece so I was thinking of upgrading cameras.
What are some other great shore dive destinations besides Bonaire? I have been to Bonaire and would love to go back, but it is a hike to get there.
Is there any place else that comes close?
I am not opposed to boat diving, I just find I appreciate the freedom of shore diving more and i...
After the first dive I have a SI some snacks and maybe something to wash it down with, get ready and gear up for the second dive pull that cold clammy hood on and then....... do battle with my soggy gloves.
For me this usually involves a few choice words muttered under my breath coming close...
We are just back from Bonaire after 9 days, everything I read was true but hey, you have to go see for yourself.
We stayed at a B&B called the Deep Blue View Deep Blue View, intimate resort. Dive Bonaire in the Dutch Caribbean they are located up the hill overlooking Kralendijk and it's a...
I donated blood on Wednesday May 14, 2008 while they were drawing my blood I developed a hematoma. I have a boat dive planned for Sunday May 18, 2008. will this put me at risk while I'm diving?
Please excuse my ignorance, but having never traveled out of the US, unless you count California ;) . How does the Visa debit card work out on Bonaire? I have grown quite fond of this handy little thing and almost never carry cash at home and never have carried more than what I think of as...
Well I am a little discouraged, trying to plan the trip in September and am not having a lot of success with the flights. Getting there without flying clear across the US is proving to be a pain, unless I shorten the trip to a 7 day vacation and that includes two days for flying. Anyone have any...
Planning to either dive at Redondo or Sunrise park this weekend wanted to know if anyone can give me a heads up on the Sewage overflow situation in the area(s). I looked on the county web site and it looks all ok to me but I am not sure if I am reading it right. Thanks
OK I got the new drysuit and like the idea of the Chuck Taylors for a boot, now I have these red Chuck's:dork2: and I wonder if the regular shoe lace is the way to go, or if there is a better way to fasten them to my feet. What are some other ideas? Thanks.
I finally received my new drysuit the other day and when I went to pick it up at the LDS they had the neck seal stretched over a LP95. This strikes me as a huge diameter to stretch this over and I was told to give it a couple more days on my cylinder, also a LP95 before I try trimming it. Is...
OK this is probably an ignorant question because everyone is a different shape/size, but who has the best range of stock sizes for women in drysuits, or do most of the women on here just go for the custom job?
Planning to dive there this weekend, driving up from Vancouver thought maybe one of the local divers would have a good hotel suggestion that won't break the bank or give the dog fleas.
Thanks :D
I am looking for my first dry suit and I wonder what the pros and cons are, is one more durable thatn the other? I usualy enter over rocks and oyster shells.
