    TS Fay

I'm beginning to wonder if we'll ever see the sun again. I'm tired of everything being so wet! On the bright side though, it's putting off the yard work I should have done this week. Thank goodness I'm on a plane outta here next week.

    How do you do it?

Stick to it for a length of time, and it WILL become a habit. It took about a month for me. Now I simply cannot imagine myself not working out ever again. I had to take some time off due to some surgery recently, and could not wait to jump back into the routine. I just can't stand the way...

Beach dive, Dania, Saturday May 31

BF and I may actually be doing this shore dive on Sunday if the boat dives we're on get scrubbed. I will have missed you guys by a day. :( The weather looks pretty good all weekend though!

    Atomic frameless mask - reviews?

It IS a good mask but one thing...since it is such low volume, if there is the slightest bit of water inside the mask, you're gonna know it. Nonetheless, its one I keep going back to out of all the ones I have cause it's so comfortable.

    The New Indiana Jones Movie...

I wish I could have those 2 hours of my life and the $10 spent on a ticket back. I'm not sure exactly how much acid Lucas and Spielberg dropped before they decided on the plot for this travesty of a picture. I understand you have to practice willing suspension of disbelief for movies such as...

    Best Quote of the Trip

That's an excellent description. I don't understand why so many bad divers need yet another picture of an out-of-focus parrotfish.

    Best Quote of the Trip

Sadly, it's a fact, you ain't lyin'. I've seen divers with hundreds of dives under their weight belt crash, plow or bounce their way through coral. Self-proclaimed experienced divers, but yet they seem so oblivious. You can't help but shake your head in amused disbelief. I overheard another...

    Spray on Tan

Ooooo, I second Leko's recommendation. I use the light/medium as well. It's good stuff and doesn't smell wretched like some others on the market. It was BOGO at CVS the other day too.

    7 day x 30min Cardio Challenge!!!!!

Any pointers you could share? And good luck in training for the marathons!! That's really cool. I've tried and I just wimp out. :shakehead:

The Chat Thread formerly known as "Friends request?"

Do you remember what the temp was exactly? Just wondering if I should don my 3 or 5 for dives scheduled next weekend. I'm happy you didn't get blown out with the weather that's come through Florida over the past couple days. I think you're a bit too far south for it to be a bother for ya...

Hole in the Wall in Jupiter

Probably in a few weeks. I'm going to be doing some dives with my sister for a weekend or two to get her acclimated. Then again, with the price of gas these days, I may not be heading over to the coast nearly as often as I'd lke this summer. Yeeeesh. I think learning Sea Signs on the...

Hole in the Wall in Jupiter

Hey, I have every other Friday off. That may be a good day to do some diving when the boats aren't quite "weekend-full". I'll keep you posted!!! I bet someone can't wait for school to be out!!!! :crafty: And... thinking about doing Indonesia over Christmas this year. I have a friend who...

Hole in the Wall in Jupiter

You know, I think you may have actually helped ease any fears she may have had about diving. With us all laughing and giggling, I think she realized that it actually can be fun and "no, you aren't on the edge of death every time you descend" (if you take care of yourself, of course). Next...

Hole in the Wall in Jupiter

I'm all back now, but already busy planning my next big trip, hehehehe. That Sunday I do believe I am going to be accompanying my sis out on her ocean dive as part of her OW cert, else I would tag along for HitW. She signed up last night to start classes, woo hoo!!! I don't know how we...

Hole in the Wall in Jupiter

I wish I could go that weekend, but uh, currently, I right outside Tokyo, Japan for a couple of weeks. So that would be one heck of a flight to get to Jupiter by then. ;) When I get back, I'll be in touch so I can get back to diving pronto! Let me know how your Sea Signs class goes, I've been...

Hole in the Wall in Jupiter

Laurie, you were an absolute riot. My sister and I were still giggling about it all Sunday afternoon, you were an absolute trooper and so funny about cracking on yourself. That was too much! And I'm glad you still got an awesome dive out of it!! You'll have to give a shout when you head back...

Hole in the Wall in Jupiter

Note to self: Never ever ever have Sonny's BBQ before a dive. It won't do you any favors. At least we saw a nice bunch of black tips!!! :jump013: And I think that turtle we all saw Saturday evening was the biggest I've ever laid eyes on! How was HITW?

Hole in the Wall in Jupiter

For the most part, diving is the ONLY thing I'll get out of bed for in the morning. Mornings suck. Except when you're diving. :java:

New use for BP/harness and STA

I actually know an ex-diver or two who wear their old weight belts filled with a few pounds while exercising. Guess that is one crafty thing to do with them...
