The Lobster I caught that day, Pizza is a good second after a multi-shore-dive with a long hike or long swim day when I can barely stand afterwards. Sam Addams Light being the beverage of choice that evening.
what do you guys like eating after a hard day of diving?

Ingredients look almost exactly the same. The only difference I can see that sugar isn't added to hushpuppies whilst with festival traditionally a little is added to sweeten it.
Oh and they look a bit smaller

some people add sugar, some don't. some add a little chopped up onion, some don't. you can also add peppers or corn, but most don't. kinda like spaghetti sauce or curried goat, your mama's (or daddy's) is the best. most times they are smaller than that pic. you can also make the batter thinner so they spread when they hit the grease - they make thin flat shapes that have grease bubble holes in them, and that's called lace cornbread.
my ex is a chef instructor, and taught a 2 week class for resort chefs at ocho a few years ago. that's when i got to go to jamaica, and i really liked it there. that's how we figured out how close festival and hushpuppies are, and got a taste for patty!

What, no answers for Waffle House after a night dive? C'mon guys, where's the fun? As for me, I am always up for seafood after a dive! Heck, I'm just always up for seafood!
Something simple that I can microwave like burritos (cordon bleu chef I am not). I'm usually busy editing the footage after I dive. When I'm diving on our LDS' dive boat, the great lunch they provide usually suffices for the rest of the day.
