The Bathrooms and showers are pretty ok. Clean enough especially when the MNG is since were the only ones there at that time.

The bathrooms are nice Queen. And, at that time of year, with only our group there, if the bathroom is cleaned before we arrive it should be nice all weekend.

The woman's bath has a very nice sink area (decorated with girlie stuff like a home bathroom) a toliet stall and a shower stall with curtain. It is inside a building and heated.

Treat it like any other public shower and have flip flops. (the floor looks hard and cold anyway).

There is even a little couch area, if I remember correctly. Of all the quarries in NW Ohio, Gilboa's is by far the most comfortable and clean.

Good to know, thanks. I've had some nightmarish experiences in other campgrounds so I always like to ask first.

Since I'm signing on late I figured I'd try to get the bunkhouse, I just don't really want to mess with a tent and stuff. Are the Gilboa bathrooms decent or scary??

Hi Queen, I'm Cheryl aka warm water wimp (for a reason). Anyways, I planned on bringing my son's tent (small dome one-sleeps 4) just for changing and stuff since Ted's bunkhouse may be crowded. Ted & I both have air mattresses, so I'm sure you can use one. I even have a heater for it that runs on those little propane tanks. I plan on arriving early on Friday and would be more than happy to let you use it. I can't speak for the Gilboa bunk house, but it would be more fun to stay right in the middle of the action and not walk ALLLLL the way up the road to your digs. It's yours. Ted will be very happy help me put it together and stake it down for you. He's a nice guy that way. :girl::girl::girl:

At that point it pretty much doesnt matter anymore since I would pretty much be done.
