That, my friend, is beautiful.my1ocean:Ode to Frost;
Whose kelp forest is this, I think I know.
He stays on Brody's reef, though.
He will not see me stopping here
To watch kelp sway with ebb and flow.
My little seahorse must think it queer
To stop without the coral near
Between the kelp and sand flat plain
The darkest seascape of the year.
He gives his cockle shell reins a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of turtle fin and gliding skate.
The sea is lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to swim before I sleep,
And miles to swim before I sleep.
Hope you don't mind me putting it onto a picture. As soon as I read your poem this picture I took last year came to mind, and I thought they belonged together. PM me your name and I'll add it onto it as the author, rather than your screen name.
Feel free to print it off or whatever for your use if you like it.
Merry Christmas, Happy Channukah, Kwanza or Holidays, whatever your persuasion.
