EZHOOPS, I agree with 2006GTDiver....you will NOT regret buying the B2. Great choice!

EZHOOPS:
I'm going with the atomic B2 with an aqua lung reg. The B2 will cost me about $600

still looking for a better deal, someone help me out here. The B2 Atomic is my final choice you cannot change my mind unless you give me something for free!:D

That's the choice I would have made. You won't regret it.

MudDog:
Is this really true? You can return your Atomics reg back to the Atomics factory and they will do an annual (biannual) service...that is parts and labor...for free for life?!? So ,in other words, you pay for the reg and except for shipping, you never have to pay another penny to maintain your Atomics reg for life...Atomics foots the bill?!!?

As a side note, I have both Apeks and Zeagle regs (both great reg companies). Like Apeks, contrary to what was posted by someone earlier, Zeagle ALSO has free service parts for life.

No, that is not true for servicing. They charge you for the parts, labor, shipping and handling.

It is true for manufacture defects, though.

PerroneFord:
Except when I want more oxygen in my air... Then they're useless.

dude, if you use more oxygen in your air it ain't air anymore....:D

I called to get clarification! I was wrong and I apologize! My bad. Here's the deal. They DO NOT cover parts and labor for regular servicing. Their warrantee covers anything that happens within the first years. One of the benefits is that an Atomic only has to be serviced ever 2 years or 300 dives. Most reg makers require a 1 year servicing period. BUT all metal parts are warranted for life. And unlike Scuba Pro, if you miss a servicing period, the warrantee does not expire. Again sorry for the mis-information!

I like lots of oxygen in my air. When I dive, it tastes yummy.

No problem...thanks for following-up and posting your findings. I must say I was blown away there for a moment when you said you would have factory servicing every two years for life for free with no penalty for missing a service period (unlike AquaLung products)...that left me speechless. I could not figure how they could ever afford to do that.

I'm sure there's a better analogy. My favorite regs are Oceanic and Mares, in that order (at least at the high end of their lines).
