What's nice about Atomics, is that you can send directly back to the factory for servicing. As long as you don't run over it in you car or something like that, it's serviced free. You just pay shipping. And IMASWFAN is right. It always ranks at the top in testing. It is pricey! But you get what you pay, including an excellent warrentee. I did a lot of research prior to buying a new reg and tried many out. That included talking with many of my friends that dive Atomics. Most of them are either dive masters or instructors and spend a lot of time in the water. All of them dive Atomics (except IMASWFAN. We're working on him... ).
There are many good regs out there. I would suggest trying out as many as you can. And talk to the professionals in your area. Research, research...
