I'm due for a replacement of my cervical traction harness, the old one has seen better days & never did fit right.
Anyone have recommendations? I might be interested in a whole new traction unit, my current one is sorta stone age.
It'd be nice to regrow hair on that bald spot on my chin...

Bob, any good O&P (Orthotic & Prosthetic) shop should be able to help you. One name that comes to mind is Hangar.

Hope this helped,

Bob, what is a cervical traction harness? and may i ask why do you need one? i hope you are ok.

I also use one for a ruptured disc in my neck from about a year ago.

I don't do the traction as much as I should but I do use it. The traction device I have was given to me at my orthopedist's office. The harnass around my head is not particularly comfortable.

I guess I didn't think or realize that there may be a whole range of options for better or more comfortable harnasses.

What are the names of other options, so that I can look into them?

Thanks.

Rupture at C6-7.

I should definitely invest in a better traction unit instead of the over-the-door device and harness I have now. Although, I mounted it to the wall facing a tv, so ....

Thank you for the link.
