Petrel 3 Failure

Do we know if the problem is consistent to certain lots or serial number ranges?
Or how many battery changes roughly happened before the problem manifested--if that was actually causative?
Bit of a concern for those of us trying to use rechargeables. Even the 14500's need a top-up somewhat regularly.

Looks like it concerns the "battery/power assemblies and components"
@justinthedeeps in the other thread was right

Mine just croaked although it might be an unrelated thing. Crashed after a firmware update.
