I am a happy girl!!!
Went out at 11AM just about mid-way through high tide. Very little surf and only the slightest little south current. I left from Datura and played around on the first reef for about a half hour then cruised east to the second reef. Headed north of the pier and hung out there for a while. Vis was about 30 feet, temp was 78, and my bottom time was an-hour-forty-five with 700 to spare!

Lots of juvies, watch out for the little jellies, huge grey angels, plenty of life out there today plus an added bonus which I will post separately.... Just as I was thinking I hadn't seen anything like a turtle, ray or shark a 4-foot nurse slipped out under me and swam along for a while. Lots of basket stars, flamingo tongues and some big crabs along with a bunch of lobsters who obviously knew I could not touch them.

Jenny - what is a little bright orange with a blue dot just forward of the tail?? I mean bright! orange.

Can't wait for tomorrow! I'm going out again! God I love it when I get a day off!

Oh I forgot to add that I came across a small group of healthy staghorn just north and east of the pier!
