Yes rain and some gusty winds (up to 25 kts) but nothing major. By Monday afternoon, a non issue.We weren't sorry to see her go - Sara definitely overstayed her welcome off the north coast of Honduras - but we can empathize with everyone in Belize and the Yucatán peninsula receiving her now. Is Coz affected now too? My phone weather app shows rain there and fairly gusty winds along with an "Atlantic Tropical Cyclone Warning"
This is all a good reminder that a storm doesn't have to reach hurricane status to do a lot of damage...
I have been to Punta Tuniche many times and I cannot remember the curret there NOT being ripping. The underwater topography there makes the prevailing current squirt over the top of the reef.Punta Tunich 1st dive, RIPPING CURRENT
