WAIT, WAIT... I DID invite you ... in fact, I encouraged Kory to bring you along...Why am I being deprived of cookies and brownies!? It's not fair. If I'd known that was to be the case, I would have told him to stay home and YOU could come in his place!!!

GREETINGS Swampers from inside the Dragon Lair. Weather bug says it's 43 degrees... Inside the tent it's at least 60. More folks out here than I expected. Our preferred site was taken by some unworthy folks from "away". We've taken up residence on the east side of the center section. Look for the flag pole. There's plenty of space around here. The lake was super calm at 5pm when we drove in, no word on vis yet.

Weatherman is calling for rain tomorrow...HUMBUG!

We've got a grill and all the ecoutraments; bring 'm if you wanna cook em; everyone is welcome. If we're out diving, make your self at home. I'd offer you some cookies...but there aren't any; thanks to my dirtbag dive buddy. :-(

Reporting live from inside the Dragon Tent (damn ain't technology grand)... Johnny 1 signing off.

I had a change of heart, and I DID send cookies! Fudge too! Is Kory not sharing????

John, they are in the picnic basket, just wait until he goes to sleep......

But, don't eat all the fudge before Frank gets there!:D

Rhonda

Kory did finally break the goodies out, I thought I was going to have to punch holes in his BC...

We're back in the 1st Atmosphere...water temp is 20 degrees warmer than the air. Great hour long dive with fair vis. We added a mushroom anchor, a broken fishing pole, and ANOTHER worn out mask to the treasure chest.

We had giant cheeseburgers for lunch with all the fix'ns. All y'all missed out. We're going back this afternoon (once the sleet lets up). Steaks for dinner.

Where is everyone?

STEAK!!!?????:11:

All right, now I guess I'm going to have load up the kids, and come up there, you're cooking STEAK!!!?????

Make mine extra pink, and juicy, and have it ready about 6:00.:D

Rhonda

Rhonda.... you are a doll for sending the wondeful cookies and fudge to the lake.....nothing really better than a cheeseburger in one hand and one of your giant choc-something cookies in the other!!!!! :10: THANKS

Dive 2: I'm here to tell you putting on a wet 7mm wet suit that's been "drying" in 38 degree weather for 2 hours is a religous experience that is sure to guarantee salvation for everyone that partakes... YEWOIE. However, be sure to say parting words to certain extensions of your anatomy that are guaranteed to climb back into your torso, never to return.

Water temp was the same, however the air temp dropped with more sleet after lunch. My portion of the dive ended abruptly when I discovered 6 pinholes and a boil at the end of my SPG hose after we descended...drat, it was the warmest I'd been all day.

Kory, Frank and Craig finished the afternoon with another great dive. It's dark and getting colder... weather man is calling for snow and more rain tomorrow.

BUT I'M NOT OUT! I called Scuba J's at the Lake Murray Marina, and get this, they were closed when I called, but answered the phone anyway. They are coming into the shop special at 9am tomorrow morning to replace my hose. I think I've got new best friends; now if only the super cold stuff will hold off just a bit longer. That's Scuba J's... best danged Scuba store in Oklahoma! Maybe in the whole wide world!!! Y'all plan accordingly next time you're at Murray.

Steak for breakfast since everyone else bugged out for dinner... yhum.

Y'all stay tuned...we're not icecicles yet!
