There are 2 horizontal ones in the back. You really have to know what you're doing to use those. :D
:rofl3: :rofl3: You Rock!

Again, its not the idea that someone died in a system that creeps me out. I dive in several caverns that had claimed several lives in each. It is the fact that there still is a body in the water at Vortex that has me on the fence whether I would dive there again.

I was there today and it was Vortex as usual. Crappy visibility in the morning. Cleared up nicely in the afternoon once all the OW classes were gone. If there's enough flow in the basin to clear the visibility in just an hour after the OW classes are done, it's enough to dilute any decomposition. As for body decomposition, the video that's been posted shows him in a full wetsuit, gloves, and hood. This means there is only a small part of his face exposed. Chances are that with the silt and flow in Vortex, the body could be buried anyway.

There is no other body there. The few people that have died were recovered. This we know for a faact.

How sure are you that every person that ever died in there is known about?

If you have some facts please state them. If not, quit saying things that could be hurtful to the business of Vortex. Apparently some people are worried about what could happen being in the water with a body.

I would like to say that I do not want to go there until a body is recovered. I have discussed it with some recovery team guys, and if he was wedged in a tight spot, there would be a chance of one day him breaking free. I would not want to dive there if there is a chance of a body floating up, or coming out. I wouldn't dive again, but that is me. I know we dive places where people have died and there bodies might not have been recovered but it's still a disturbing thought. Still this is my opinion and I do not think any less of anyone who would. My stomach just can't handle that. Vortex was never a "fun" dive for me, just a training spot.

Don't you have a vested interest in Gulf diving though?
