I have an 18W Hollis LED (made by light monkey) and I am very happy with it. It is dang near the same brightness as the 21w HID my instructor was diving. The HID had a little tighter hot spot, but not much. It has the sealed battery which some like and some don't. It is very durrable and the head is MUCH smaller than a HID head.

the 21watt hids are pretty damn robust. mine just survived a pretty violent car crash.

And just the fact that batteries become non transferable. I swap my 21w battery with a 50w HID often.
