So I came across some light monkey canister lights while purchasing a plethora of other gear locally. I know they are the older style HID lights is there any value to those as they sit before I send them back to light monkey to try and revamp them to LED versions? I'm just looking to recoop some money back all the gear I bought. They all work and have the chargers with them. Just the HID is nowhere as bright as the LED versions.

Ah, I thought the one looked like a big ballast but all your part numbers showed LED.
I don't think there is much value in them, there is a market for anything but I don't think they will bring much.

They are low value as HIDs. But you will also not recoup the cost of converting them to LED with new batteries either. Just sell them as is. Although you may want to save one as a suit heater canister - if you ever travel to the Great Lakes for instance

What rjack said. Some time ago I talked with Cory about converting our HID lights. I figured I would do it once the bulbs went out. He said for the work involved I would be better off buying new lights.
