Hello Everyone,

Last Summer while in Hawaii, I had the privilege of diving with a wonderful lady named Wendy as she completed her certification and made her first few dives. Unfortunately I just learned that she is in the hospital near her home in California with a Non-malignant brain tumor. The doctors will be operating on Monday to remove the tumor. I would like to ask that you would say a prayer for Wendy and the doctors and nurses.

I have called a couple of board members already and asked for prayer. I will be posting an update to this thread once I get an update on her condition.

Thanks,
Brad

Absolutely, Brad. (And the word has gone out through CDOT, too). We'll be waiting anxiously for word.
God bless Wendy and her family.

Done with more to come.

Will keep Wendy in my prayers and thoughts for sure.

All,

Thank you for the prayers and support.

The last word I received was that they were considering pushing the surgery off until today. As soon as I hear something, I will be sure to post it here.

-Brad

SB is one big great family and our prayers go out to her and her family. Keep us posted

There are few greater folks than those whom visit ScubaBoard, this I discovered in Jan/Feb of this year. You can count on them/us to do what we say. Your prayers are in good hands. :)

It is with great pleasure that I can update all of you and let you know that Wendy's surgery went well. She is already showing improvement in her speech. Now I am praying for a fast and full recovery.

Thank you to all of you who have been praying for her!

-Brad

P.S. I will be with the CDOT group diving the Comal this Saturday, the 21st, I hope to see as many of you there as possible so that I can say Thank You in person!

Fantastic news! Don't you love it when the prayers can become ones of thanksgiving? When you get a chance to talk to Wendy and her family, give her all our best.
