I sometimes wonder if anyone from Shearwater ever takes a look at this thread. Honestly, I think it would be very useful to them. They may get the same information by examining the repair/replacement logs from their repair centers. A big advantage available to Shearwater is a reasonably accurate denominator. I would never pretend that this poll on SB accurately reflects either the numerator or the denominator for repairs and replacements for the Teric.
It is remarkable that less than half the respondents to this poll have not had repair and/or replacemant. Equally interesting that 1 in 5 have had multiple repair and/or replacement. I will soon receive my 7th Teric.
@FlaParrotHead and his partner have had 4 and 5 respectively. Sounds like another poll, but I will skip it.
Many different problems have been reported, with battery problems easily the most common. Other reported defects have included loss of AI (antenna), screen dysfunction, pressure sensor/depth gauge, and compass calibration. I may have missed some, the companion thread and poll regarding specific defects never took off

Several other things have become quite clear. Many of us really like our Terics. Mine is perfect for the diving I do. My service from Dive-Tronix and Shearwater has been absolutely superlative, without that, I would likely have given up my Teric by now.
My 7th Teric will be perfect
