That would suck!!! I have 3 G250's all different model years. I love the 250 series and think it is there best ever design. They been making them since 1986. Longest running 2nd stage in history.

Yeah, I don't know if I would call the D series a big error in terms of part retention. They got the pilot conversion, air 1, D300, 350, and 400. That's a pretty good run. They screwed up by turning it into the X650.

It would not surprise me to see a resurgence of the coaxial valve in a new SP regulator at some point.

it doesnt look bling it looks manly :)

Big error only in the sense that they discontinued that very high performance design. The X650 is ugly enough to be of the same design but it is a balanced barrel poppet rather than a coaxial valve inside.

I'm afraid the coaxial valve design may be too complex for some of Scubapro's service techs.

I'm afraid the coaxial valve design may be too complex for more than half of Scubapro's service techs.

Fixed it for you! :D

ha ha ha ... um y is it so much more complex ?

The G250V is still on their European sites.

The D series derived from the Air One which was a piece of pure engineering showcase designed to break all records (and bank accounts).

Air2 dates back to 1979: Second Stage

You have a point but the Air2 is the biggest unbalanced piece of crap in scuba history. I dont even consider that a 2nd stage.

The G250's are the most sold 2nd in history.
