A few questions:

Can the surfGr be added to graphic dive display?

Peregrine settings to show battey percentage (in addition or instead of battey icon)?

When one wants to download dives from computer to cloud software, it requires first to connect, then press the download button. The "connect" step is redundant, not needed: why not modify the software that if the divers presses the "download dives" button it automatically connects?

SAC: if the diver writes the cylinder volume used in a dive, perhaps use this info to factor the sac? Or, as an alternative, add to the stats tab average SAC values for the various cylinders ?

Cheers,
J

The Beta version does just that. You open SW cloud on the phone, activate Bluetooth on the DC, and it connects automatically.

Hi Jai
We will look into getting the battery level from the dive computers.

As Belzelbub noted the upcoming releases has removed the redundant presses to connect and download dives. This includes not needing to open the Connect Panel. As long as SW Cloud is running and your dive computer as been added. The update will auto download any dives not already stored in the db. This feature only works for BTLE Dive computers.

We have added some info about gas information. These may not fill all your request for more dive/sac. As for adding what information to display or offer such as a SAC/Cylinder fields. I can put it in for discussion for information display. Though I can't say what features will get added.

Any chance we can turn that feature in a menu. As one of the folks that has been dubbed the Teric killer by Richard at Dive-tronix, I often have to deal with loaners that are filled with dives.

Another question, I got a loaner that downloaded SUPER fast, like 1-2 minutes when the exact same dive with 2 second logging would download in 6-7 minutes on my computers.

Or, perhaps another option. IIRC, the previous Beta version behaved a bit differently. Connected automatically, then prepared a list of dives on the computer that could be downloaded. Then you select the ones you want / deselect the ones you don’t want to download. A Select All, Deselect All would be useful in your case.

Another feature that might be useful in your case is to save user selected configurations under a profile and select/change them from the phone.

Thanks! I sincerely appreciate your reply.

I find it amazing that there is communication between end users (us, divers) and the compand's development.

I'd second that request! I regularly have to log into all the CCR controller and NERDs to update firmware (or just check to see if it needs updating) prior to expeditions on 5 different units, so I would end up with all the dives from 10 computers.

We ALSO have a fleet of about 40 peregrines used for training that would need firmware updates as well. My dive log would be awash with thousands of pool dives.

I guess a second account would solve those problems....

yikes, I needed to jump in last week. It's been busy in office as we are working very focused on getting this release out.

Any chance we can turn that feature in a menu.
This is currently set per dive computer. There will be a new panel where this feature to disable/enable can be turned off. We ended putting this more granular controlled per Dive Computer to give options to who uses the software.

This is dependent on a number of factors. The total number of samples, the OS and the general radio traffic in the area.

The more samples in the dive the longer it will take. A dive using 10 second samples will have a lot less sample than every 2 seconds. This would result in a dive of the same length having more records at 2 seconds and will take longer to download.
1 hour dive at 10 second samples would be 360 samples to transfer
1 hour dive at 2 second samples would be 1800 samples to transfer

The other factor is that the OS also influences the time it takes. While we worked on this update I took did some collection time for how long 1 dive would take and what the time is across all platforms. In some OS the discprency is rather large. Android with DiveComputer as the Bluetooth mode is the fastest smashing all other platforms. We plan to take a look at improving the OS part of this, but were unable to get around to it for this upcoming release. Not sure when we can look into this deeper.

The prior version the "Download Dives" button showed a popup of all the new dive and has a De/Select all button. The new version won't have the popup. However we updated some changes to replace this.
* Download Dives. This will download all available new dives. It will also show a count of how many are to download
* There is also a new Dive List menu that shows all dives in the list. You can discreetly choose which ones to download from this list.

The feature can be turned of for each dive computer individually.

We have been discussion Fleet situations like this. Such as batch firmware updates, lots of logs, training, rentals etc. There isn't a lot we can announce at this point.
