Sending PMs Generates "Bad Gateway" message

FYI. During a PM exchange today, both of us noticed that sending replies generated a "Bad Gateway" error screen message. The messages seem to have been sent OK.

IE9, Win 7 Home Premium.
 
Had the same problem

noticed it on PM's and in posting and replying to threads.




Also noticed if you "reply with quote", it didn't/wouldn't quote the Post you tried to. just showed a blank screen.

Yes, one of the servers crashed (the other one emailed me to tell me), and I was restarting it. Thus the bad gateway in the interim.
 
Yup - got it starting this thread. A screenshot (that would not post with the insert image tool from the toolbar)
