That's actually the first time I've ever seen a bug report about Oceanic+ relating to in-water functionality, as opposed to something like syncing dive log info on the surface. The fact that the default is air means that resetting from nitrox to default – will at least be a mistake in the conservative deco direction. Still disconcerting.

Added dive log synchronization from iPhone to Apple Watch Ultra The ability to enter your beginning and ending tank pressure in the logbook, along with tank type. Added functionality to recognize and display a message when updates are available. Bug fixes and performance enhancement.

I’m glad they finally added tank pressures to the logs

This release fixed the log sync issue that I had on my last trip. At that time only 3 of 9 dives synced from the watch to the iPhone. After updating I did a manual sync and now all 9 dives are in the iPhone logbook.
