I agree, but as they say, to each his own. I couldn't care less for any lack of night life in Anilao or Puerto Galera for that matter, I go to dive not to party.

un nga eh...you have to go to batangas city to party. I heard the stevedores are as strong as Ron Jeremy.

Im back!!! CHIP and Spoon thought you guys were at Aquaventure??

Anyway . . . All I can say is that our dive yesterday was THE BEST YET!! I can only describe it as AMAZING!! Don, one of my dive buddies had the underwater camera and he'll send me the pictures sometime soon.

1st dive - Hole in the Wall, max depth . . . secret hehe.

What did we see?? SCHOOL of Jacks . . . . a BIG ***** Wrasse! This wrasse was about 5 1/2 feet long, totally huge, we thought it was a shark from a far. Marble Rays . . . . Up close and personal! 2 of them gliding around. 2 Tunas swimmin quickly, moray eels, sheesh let me check my dive log later for more!

2nd Dive - La Laguna point.

We thought we had nothin to see here since we started out with 5 minutes of Sandy bottom . . and then I saw my first PUFFER fish! and then a box fish! and schools of juvenile catfishes, jacks one more time, and here's the best . . . . a GIANT PAWIKAN . . . and it was so friendly, I took a picture beside it!

3rd dive. Turtle Rock . . final dive. Big Harlequin sweetlips, triggerfishes, Giant angelfishes, tunas again, moray eel, sea cucumber about 10 ft long! grabe haba, and this totally lazy BIIIG puffer fish resting on the rock . . . . .

OK, ok . . I know you need to see the pictures. Wait for a week. This dive is so damn sulet haha. Once you go to Galera I don't wanna go Anilao again. LOL.

been to Galera only once (early this year)...It's a Napoleon Wrasse Ish. When I saw it the last time I dove there in low viz I thought it was a huge barrracuda barreling towards me. Hehe thankfully it wasn't, but it can still suck your arm in its mouth.

This time out on the 26th we'll do the canyons, fish bowl and washing machine sites. It would be high voltage dives.

Ish, good dive summary..post the pics soon.

That's awesome Ish!

We did very relaxing dives yesterday. Went for quantity more than quality. It was fun, but saw nothing spectacular like you.

We went to Dive n Trek instead of AquaV. Just stayed in the house reef. Benthic life was really nice. We did see a turtle as well, but wasn't friendly like yours. And I tried to play tag with a cuttlefish, but it wanted nothing to do with me.

Looks like I'll have to go diving with Norm and the Scuba1 crew soon. Next time na lang.

Hehe . . .yeah, Im excited to see the pics.

Chip that's good! Hope to see a cuttlefish soon. :)

BTW Norman is in the Manila Bulletin Issue Today page L-5. Reef check issue.

hehe Ish, this coming Saturday, Nov. 26 na.

Do not think that you need to be an aow diver just to dive high voltage dives. Just dive dive dive and log log log. Your dive experience will be the true gauge of your diving prowess. Doesn't hurt to read on some more techniques and ask questions from the more experienced divers.
