How do you wear your long hair to dive?

I have layerd, shoulder length hair...i put it ina ponytail and then fold a hankerchief so that its a 3-1 folding job...and tie it!!! great for night dived when those little gross bugs are around cause then you can pull it down over your ears....bugs underwater, I thought that was the one place I wouldn't encounter them!
 
Hmmm... I haven't dived with long hair since the 60's and 70's. Trying to remember what I did with it. I think it was just rubber banded in a pony tail. Didn't wear a hood back then. The bushy beard was the real problem... never really got a good mask seal!

One of my dive buddies has her long hair braided (in long dreads) and tucked into her hood. Several others just tucks theirs in their hoods. Two others have short hair and don't worry about it.
