Hurricanes rarely affect the weather here in Austin, but I have close friends on Cozumel and in Houston and I have family in south Louisiana, so I watch the NHC maps very closely between May and November.Which, truth be told, is exactly why I spend probably way too much time watching the GTWO forecasts during hurricane season
