Hey guys
Posing a weird question here:
Is it possible to DIY (cut or whatever) the length of hoses for the regulators (primary or backup) & BCD/SPG to suit one's needs (eg DIR lengths)? I'm thinking of doing it but was wondering is it advisable or do you need special equipments to do it. Thanks.

It is possible to cut down your hoses but you need access to a special hose crimping machine! These machines are very expensive. Unless you know someone who has one, you're better off buying it from those who sell custom length LP/HP hoses.

Buddy BCs are quite common over here. These come as standard with a BC hose that can be adjusted to any length (shorter :) ) by the owner.

The BC end is unique to Buddy but the reg end has a standard 3/8th fitting. You should be able to fit this to a similar size hose on any BC.

The details are here:

The hose is AP50

It should be pretty easy to buy DV hoses in any length
