My home Buddy can't make it, so - I have room for a tolerant roomie who doesn't mind that I haven't stopped smoking yet.

I'm currently holding 2 nights at the Best Western Adobe, but if no roomie - I'm thinking I'll drive in during the wee hours Saturday morning in time for breakfast. Surely there won't be as many deer on the hiway from Ft.Sumner by then. I still shudder when I think of the buck that I thought was gonna' come thru my windshield one night there - but suddenly pulled back. :11:

I'll call the Hotel tomorrow. I've been working away from any phones during the day, but should have the opportunity tomorrow. I think that with all of the dive gear, I will go ahead and get a single room.

Did you see Don's post? He is looking for someone to share a room with, and is staying at the Adobe as (I'm fairly positive) Dan and I are...

That could work out well.

Yes, but he is looking for a "tolerant room-mate who doesn't mind that he hasn't stopped smoking yet."
I am fairly allergic to cig smoke.
No offense Don.

No problem at all. I should quit, but haven't yet - and won't this week. That's why I posted that exactly like that.

I've never stayed in any of the $35 motels, but some of them look okay.

I just checked out the forcast through the weekend. It looks like 55 degrees on Sat for a high, and 56 on Sunday.
Thats a lot better than the hurricane force winds that we are experiencing on the front range right now. The high for tomorrow in Denver is supposed to be 17 degrees!

Seriously, there are gusts over 90 mph, with constant winds around 40. Schools are closed, trucks are turned over on highways, power outages....who needs to go to Coz?!!
Blue Hole will seem tropical!

Well the national weather is saying mid 40's on Friday and Sat, and 65 on Sunday!

Looks like we are in for some OK weather, but we'll have to keep an eye on it.

So assuming that forcast does not change, do people want to Pot Luck, or should we just do lunch out or on our own.

Let's see a show of hands!! Picnic yes or no?

You fellows taking a 5-day forecast seriously? :11:

While the weather could go either way by then, it's not going to go to 75F, so I'll be ready for some indoor food at the cafe. That's my one vote. :)

My vote is indoor food too......if I get to go. My parents are telling me that they have a Christmas party to go to that night. They weren't sure what time, but I'll have to be back in time to pick my kids up. Geeeez.....what next.
The picnic sounds fun, but you just never know about the weather. It's gonna be a lot of trouble too. Let's make it easy.

Excuse me? You have too many posts here to drop out - attendance required. :D

You mean they really told you that you had to be at a party with less than a weeks notice...?
