It will look like the pic I left in your quoted message. This is my sleeve with kubi installed by Seaskin.

Yes, the covers are nice to protect and give a mechanism to prevent them from separation under water.Got it - so you got the optional neoprene covers it looks like. Thanks for the info!
But those spaces are blue, you should go with your color scheme and park in the red, tell them I said it’s ok.

Or get one that isn't prone to cracking because it's made of plastic... I've heard of 2 people that had their kubi pop apart. I have no idea is the cover helps or not but it sure doesn't hurt any.Or get a good system that doesn't need a neoprene cuff to keep them from separating and don't accidentally come apart...
...Rolock 90 for the win!!!

I have read accounts of the Kubi system popping apart unexpectedly underwater, but I have yet to read or hear of an account where a Rolock ring system cracked. Do you have any evidence of this or are you being hyperbolically facetious?Or get one that isn't prone to cracking because it's made of plastic... I've read of 2 accounts of kubi popping apart and I will fully lay blame on the user for that. I really have no idea how that could happen unless they jammed their ham somewhere and raked the rings across a hard corner.I have read accounts of the Kubi system popping apart unexpectedly underwater, but I have yet to read or hear of an account where a Rolock ring system cracked.
