The actual Sitec ovals are the worst dry gloves I have ever had. 0/10 would never recommend. I switched to the roclocs

It is not the sitec ovals...they are not a dry glove system....they are a wrist seal retention system that is also used as a platform for mating a dryglove ring system.

What you are actually referring to. Is the sitec Antares dryglove ring system which was designed to integrate with the qcs oval wrist ring system.

It is agreed by most that the Antares is a horrible dryglove system.

Yes the actual glove side rings are the Antares which are designed to mate with the QCS system.
Si-Tech Antares
Si-Tech Virgo
Waterproof Ultima DGS
4th Element Ellipse
Rolock 90

The dryglove ring systems listed above are not cross-compatible with the 60910 (QCP) ring system.
Just scratch those off, they are stupid and have a miserable leak to success ratio

Right tool for the right job at the right price.

Seaskin trilam suits seem to be better than their neoprene alternatives. If I were to get a Seaskin, I'd get trilam, too. However, my cold water suits are neoprene.

Valves - get SiTech as this is your first suit and you haven't invested in Apeks valves.

Think about an oval ring trying to mate with another oval ring. Any rotational mismatch means a leak. I tried the ovals, worst experience, back to SiTec round quick lock. I don't cave or tech dive so no big issues, have used them for years, very happy.

Hmm, sorry you had a bad experience, but the suit side oval rings are quite soft, I bet even if you were even a full 90 degrees out of rotation you wouldn't get a leak past the silicone seal sandwiched between the suit ring and dryglove system. All the glove systems other than Anteres force the Oval suit ring into a circle instead of an oval and I've never seen that to be any issue.

Any chance your leaks were from the Anteres oval glove system and not the oval suit rings? Like, what side of the wrist seal was wet, your hands or your arm?

I haven't used sitech quick glove system myself, but a lot of the people I dive with locally have them on older suits and they seem to be much more finicky and leaky than any of the newer dryglove solutions, but again, not on past the lip of the wrist seal and the wrist ring, between the glove rings resulting in sopping wet glove liners but still dry arms.

Si-Tech doesnt make a glove ring system called the "Quick Lock". They do make the "Quick Glove" ring system, and another ring system called the "Glove Lock".

The "Quick Glove" ring system is a push to fit system. The "Glove Lock" ring system has a twist-to-lock ring to retain the two halves of the system together.

The "Quick Glove" system has a very thin sealing o-ring and a tendency to leak and pop off if gloves fill with air. This is not an issue with the "Glove Lock" system.

Both of the systems mentioned above are designed to integrate with Si-Tech's older wrist ring system called the QCP cuff ring system. QCP stands for Quick Cuff Platform. It was their first ring system designed for use with silicone wrist seals. The QCP cuff ring system is larger in diameter than the QCS Oval ring system, so the Quick Glove and the Glove Lock systems are not compatible with the QCS Oval system.

Further, Si-Tech makes the "Virgo" dryglove ring system, which is designed similar to the "Glove Lock" system but specifically made to integrate with the Si-Tech QCS oval cuff rings (specifically the soft PU ring glued into the suit). The virgo is a decent ring system, although it is a bit bulky.
