Last time we put a laptop in our checked luggage it didn't make it... No great surprise if you've seen how they throw around luggage. Yes, it was in a padded case in hard-sided luggage. I'm not sure what else to do. How are you all packing your laptops and Kindles for the journey?

I was checking airfares last night from Seattle and Volaris now flies to Cozumel (through GDL) for about $400. I was looking in Dec-Feb, so into CZM instead of CUN that's a screaming deal!! They fly out of a few airports in CA, so it may be even cheaper from there :)

Seems none of the big players (Orbitz, Expedia, etc...) allow me to choose a package with a hotel in Coz and fly into Cancun. I know I've done it many times before, always cheaper. Anyone know of one that still allows it? It's always been cheaper to do a package than separately if I want to...
