Yes! It was great to see everyone. The weather was much better than I expected. Hope everyone made it home safe and i'll see you next time.

I had a blast! It was awesome to put some faces to the names as well as meeting up with some awesome dive buddies again. I pulled the video from my camera. Some of it turned out pretty good and some of it, not so much. I'll put together a short video soon. :)

This weekend was a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone for all the great food. I think that the turtles were the best.

RobinT, I think that Iris will be ready to come next time. As long as I bring some Pina Colada mix and it is a little warmer.

I had a great time! It's interesting that I as looked around the hole on Sunday morning during our last dive, I realized that I've become good friends with all those I was diving with, and also realized how lucky I was to be surrounded by such great divers/dive buddies! Crawdads were plentiful, and vis was rather good the entire trip.

Food was awesome, plentiful, and I thank Robin, Ron, and all from ABQ/TX/CO that brought so much good stuff to eat! I was happy that I did not have to take home any Elk, even if I think Kevin may have been disappointed (He likes Elk steak leftovers)! :D

We did six dives including two night dives (I LIKE night dives!), and a dive at Perch. However the dive on Sunday morning was very memorable, and relaxing with BT of over 50 minutes with great friends/buddies.

It was nice to see Kent whom I have not see for a while. I was nice meeting many new folk, and hanging out with the folks at the Adobe. Weather was good, but I think we may have picked the worst to date in March! :eyebrow: We had snow on the way down from CO Pueblo to Santa Rosa, but the roads were wet, and not snow packed.

I spoke with Stella, and it would appear that Santa Rosa, in typical fashion, may have run out of $$$ to complete their project. The building is up, but there are no fixtures, piles of dirt everywhere, and she has no idea when it will be open. This maybe a blessing, but we can only sit back and wait.

Thanks all for coming out! I *think* I will be back in April, so I'll start another thread if that turns out to be the case.

Just got back from the RMO festival..... we had a great turnout! Looks like 19 members and soon-to-be members came to dive. :D
Attendees: Ronfrank, ddavies, Abqdiver, Jasonmh, Divedoggie, Amascuba, grumpyoldguy, Rossb, Rynomar, Robint(me), and Ront, along with Gabe & Josette, Chuck and Katie, James & Michelle, and Guiseppe.

Wish I could have come. There is another name, though. I just talked to my friend George, whom I did not know would be down there, or I would have told him about it. He told me he ran into everyone there. He is Rookers on SB. He has never done the RMO roll call.

We will be there this coming weekend.

I ran into George and Rob at the Adobe Inn before we went to dinner Saturday night. Sounded like he was having a good weekend. I think we missed each other at the Blue Hole on Sunday. I saw him in the water and then again as he was pulling out as I was breaking down my gear. If my work schedule works out. I think I may catch a dive or two with him next month. :)

Pretty good James!! Bunch of weirdos with doubles down there thou..... :shocked2:

Good to see and dive with you again!

Good to see and dive with you too! I enjoy these outings. They are always good for a laugh and to dive with some awesome folks! I like being a weirdo with doubles. I dove with a stage on Saturday morning so that I could make my doubles last all day. People give you weird looks when you are walking along the parking lot with doubles and a stage. The number one question is, how long are you going to stay down there? :dork2:

And that's what it's all about, buddy. :)

I agree! It was so nice to finally meet all the RMO gang that I have been chatting with for years! :D

Here's a little topside video:

I tried to get some video of everyone, but when I started reviewing clips yesterday I realized I forgot to get myself and hubby Ron! Yes, we both did 4 dives. Also, I didn't get enough of other attendees other than eating. I guess we need to do it again so I can do a better job documenting the fun. :D
