I'm tempted to buy more!
I agree. I might get rid of AL80s set and get this deal.

Easy, not all dive shops will over-fill LPs. Also, the LP85s can't be had for $200 each anymore (at least not around here, as of six months ago). If you can find LP85s new for $199 *and* get HP fills on them, I see no reason to get the true HP100s. For what it's worth, I dive double LP85s and single HP100s.
Nope, only the LP80 (not 85) is spray-painted. The LP85s are HDG!
Help me understand why HP 100's at 249.00 vs LP 85's at 199.00 when the LP 85's filled to 3200 psi give you more air than the HP-100's.
In fact to get 110 cu/ft air in an LP 85 you would fill to 3416psi
to get 110 cu/ft air in a HP 100 you need 3786psi
Rated pressure on LP85 +10%=2640 2640/85=31.06psi/cu/ft x 110cu/ft=3416.5psi
Rated pressure on HP100 =3442 3442/100=34.42psi/cu/ft x110cu/ft=3786psi
In this case the LP's make more sense and are cheaper!!
That is a good deal on the HP 100's though.
FYI, The Faber FX-100 (HP100) tanks are on sale again at Divers Direct.
