Of course, we will carry parts for the D1, the D2 and the D3 share the same HP seat and diaphragm so there will be no issues.
Please tell me that you will continue to offer service parts on the D1s for those of us that bought 5 sets.....

I hope it does not have red color scheme. The only problem I have so far with HOG is the "ugly" red/black color scheme combination.:) Im for some reason alergic to red on the regs especially when it paired up with black.

Buy an all Black wing then??? We have them.

6) He talks about Hog D1 on a stage bottle. I'm sorry, I'm not putting a diaphragm reg on a stage bottle so I wouldn't have even reviewed it for this purpose. He doesn't like his Apeks on a stage and he's not going to like the Hogs. The MK25 is a great choice here.

Why is putting a balanced diaphragm regulator on a stage/deco bottle bad?

LOL . Im hoping the answer is that it is "not necessary", but also not bad!!!!!

Since all 3 of mine (deco bottle and stage bottle regs) are Hog D1s- and Ive never had a problem......and...dont want any crazy paranoid problem in the back of my mind that makes me replace them!!!!

It's not an issue. Especially considering almost all of my deco starts in 38-42F water.

I use a couple D1's on my stage or deco bottles as well, (also BP1 and BP2's) If I was diving colder water I would choose a D1 cold or soon a D3 cold

I should add I dive cold water kits on them.

I do not think having 4 wings already will help me convince my wife that I need one more :D

Hey, ever heard of the Osborne effect?

So....is the smart money to snap up D1's or to wait?

(BTW, you guys are killing me...i stumble on this thread after hours of sifting through other threads trying to come to the HOG vs. LDS (AL/Apeks for me) decision. I know i need a new reg set...my credit card was warm and trembling...now my SO is just laughing and laughing)

Tell her to keep laughing while you place an order for a new set of regs.

I also use D-1's on all of my rigs so far. I will most likely pick up a couple D-3's for my doubles and use the D-1's I have on them now for student/rental regs. Have 3 stage set ups. 2 with D-1's and one with a D-1 cold.
