If you like horses, and want to support a good charity, volunteer your time at the horse sanctuary. I work there one day a week feeding and grooming the horses there. A couple of them can be a little jittery, so it's best that you have some experience around horses. It is located on the transval highway, almost at the other side of the island. The owner would pick me up and take me home every day. I love being around horses and it's a whole day spent outside with them.

Coz Calendar:
Dive, beer, nap, dinner, sleep, repeat as able.

Sit on the beach and sip margaritas...
Of course touring the tequila factory, visiting San Gervasio (Mayan ruins) or Punta Surn (park at southern tip of island. Has a small museum, a bunch of saltwater crocodiles and awesome beach with terrific snorkelling) comes to mind...

+1

We rented an open-top jeep and toured the island.....great way to waste a day :D
Do NOT drink and drive...!!

Especially on a moped! :D
Well, there is a part time Consulate office on the island, and the Embassy will ship your body back, then bill the family. Cheaper handled thru DAN. Ever wonder if there is a body in cargo when you're flying back...??

Depending on the time of year you go - you could head over to the other side of the iland and spend the afternoon untiol dark helping the Turtle Conservation program.

What time of year does that happen? I was thoroughly chastized by my wife and daughter for not scheduling our last trip to coincide with the hatchlings. :idk:
