Last time I saw my neurologist, he had asked what expectations I had for the Baclofen pump. The pain managent specialist that I had seen had made it seem like the pump was the greatest thing since Penicillion!

At that time I told him a few things, but I was caught off-guard.

Today, I went in with a typed up list of what I was expecting to happen -- on that list -- dive to 10meters! :D

When he got to the diving one he chuckled and said "wow -- that's amazing! you really want to dive again? after what happened?"

Me -- "absolutely!"

Dr -- "Your PFO is closed -- if you are responsible and stay within 10 meters I see no reason why you shouldn't. As a matter of fact you may feel more human underwater than you do on land where you can freely move all of your limbs! I think it would be good for you physically as well as mentally!"

Heh -- "more human" -- that made me laugh!

As I got closer to my appointment I was getting concerned -- it was all for nothing!

Now to work out some gear issues and get in the water!

We are all wishing you well and hoping to dive with you real soon!

:D:D:D:D:D:D

Where do you want to go first?

The pool! First I have to get recertified. My body has gone through so many changes, there will be some adaptions that need to be made.

I will work with an instructor who has this type of experience.

From there - I have no idea! Maybe Florida! They have pretty fishies in shallow water! :D

Come on down, sweetie! You are always welcome.

Boynton has the most beautiful intact corals and abundant tropicals I've seen in the shallows. Plus, go with Underwater Explorers, www.DiveBoyntonBeach.com. I'm sure you know Scubakevdm. He's the best and I can be there too :D

Congrats!

Lots of pretty stuff at those depths.

WOW! That's fantastic news Kimber!!

You should think about coming to ITK in July if that's not too soon. Lots of shallow pretty reefs with cool fishies and tons of SB buddies to boot.

How exciting you get to start new with your gear! Any ideas on what will be pink???

Woo Hoo!!!!:banana::banana::banana::banana:
