Back in the good old days before PADI ruined scuba diving, the basic OW course covered forum practice issues including avoiding disagreements, not wandering off subject & how to rescue a wandering thread. We will now spend 10 pages hotly debating mandating this training in all current certification agencies' OW courses (and whether it's a moral imperative or an affront to liberty & possibly unconstitutional).
