Teric - anyone ever get a bad unit?

Have had about 15 dives on the Teric since they very promptly sent me a replacement. Great computer. Absolutely love the screen and the configurability of the layout. Wireless AI also works a treat, including with 2 transmitters. Even the mobile software and wireless transfer works great for me, and I didn't expect much on that front. Count me a Shearwater fan - also my son who clearly now wants his own. He can save his allowance :wink:

You didn't get "lucky": you got Shearwater! Man made gadgets will always have problems. I don't care who the manufacturer is, there will be defective units. That's a given. What's not a given is how you will be treated after the fact. The peeps at Shearwater are the titanium standard in that regard. Of course they answered you as quickly as they could.
