Yes.. but into the 30's water temp it's just not enough. It's not that I called the dive, it wasn't that bad, just noticable enough to be annoying.

I have read about it, just didn't pull the trigger. I will at some point. I can see it making a difference for sure.

Actually I did. Tbh, I probably don't flush mine as often as I should. Just hurrying up, done for the day, want to get out of there kind of thing. I did say in my post I've never had a leak that wasn't user error, lol.

I am glad that I've taken it apart... not a lot to it.

I don't see "HS Codes", but I have these?
From looking at your pics it looks like extra seals and the Antares dry glove setup would be classed the same, or very close, to the suit. Can anyone confirm. Maybe I should just add that to the undergarment order. It would all be under $600 so there should be no import fees.

I got the Anteres to be able to take the Rolock 90's.

The undergarment is what drove my price high sky.

Has anyone tried something like this? Maybe layer some thermal underwear underneath. Yu would have to cut the hood off.

Here's another one. Price is about the same as the bare bottoms.

Congrats.
You will fail at your last quest. We all did.

Very close to what I ordered. Congrats and good luck with the wait! My therapy for dealing with that is to put together a new BPW. It helps heaps.

Are those using the right materials? My LDS advised me not to go cheap with under garments as those often don't use moisture wicking materials and you end up cold due to condensation or minor water ingress.

Indeed they were able to revise my order. I got confirmation that I will get the 40 mm suspension. 🙏
While they may feel better without undergarments it really doesn’t matter since they shouldn’t be that tight.

That is good advice.

Be aware, the most important layer is the one against your skin. Do not use cotton or cotton blends!

If the layer against your skin wicks well, that will be far more helpful than how much the middle layer(s) wicks. Though the mid layer IS important, too. Just not AS important.

I have found that the Seaskin Tech Base layer (which is worn directly against the skin) does a very good job of wicking. And it is very inexpensive compared to similar alternatives like Under Armour Cold Gear.

I have the Seaskin 150 and 250 gram mid layer suits, too, but the 250 has been too warm for me, so I wore it once. I haven't worn the 150 in quite a while, either. I've gone back and forth over the years on 2-piece versus 1-piece undersuits. I'm back to wearing a 2-piece nowadays (Waterproof MeshTec 3D).
