Jamdiver:
Never!
Ok i'll conform to whatever the format seems to be here, had started a thread earlier but it died a slow death here.

Limericks are an old Irish tradition, best spun when yer in yer cups.

First 2 lines rhyme, 3 and 4 rhyme, but not with 1 and 2. And 5 rhymes with 1.

And they're supposed to be saucy, not nice. :D

Wayward Son:
Deep down I want to fart
with all my soul and all my heart
On the boat her eyes burn.
Her head reels, stomach turns
It comes like thunder, what a start!

I boldly went where I should not
And it was there that I got caught
Mama said that it was prose
At her then I did thumb my nose
At least in here I can't get shot

The rifles dear man are at the ready
Adjust your mask and made it steady
You found the time
and made it ryhme
Don't let success make you heady

RHM, to convert mine to a limerick it needs to retain the core essence, which is a shart. A shart is what happens when you go to fart but it's something more:

Deep down I want to fart
with all my soul and all my heart
On the boat her eyes burn.
Her head reels, stomach turns
It comes like thunder, it's a shart!
