I haven’t read every page of the thread. Did the OP name the instructor or where this happened?

A very similar thing happened with a dive operation in Ambergris Cay in Belize about 15 years ago. Both the instructor and the operation were expelled by PADI.@tridacna the issue is that just reporting is unlikely to get the results that are needed. maybe i'm a cynic, but I fully expect that PADI will say some BS that they couldn't find enough evidence and sweep it under the rug and tripadvisor will just scrub the bad review. then in a few more months we'll get another thread from the next victim. and that is probably just the tip of the iceberg for what is happening.
I said that before and I think my post was deleted.Name them and shame them.
That's interesting. I know there are other threads that discuss dive ops who provided poor service and we have asked the OP to name them and shame them. As I type this some other person could be experiencing something similar to the OP. I do understand people don't want to falsely accuse someone, but if the behavior is this egregious we all deserve to get a heads-up in case we choose this instructor. At the very least, a location would be helpful.I said that before and I think my post was deleted.
Thank you. I missed that.@Kimela and @johndiver999 please see the Staff Message appended to Pressurehead's post #78 in this thread. The OP has elected not to name and shame in this public space, and repeated the point several times. Maybe she'll change her mind on that later, but continuing to suggest it here is not very productive.
