My dear friends, I want to thank all of you for being there to support me and mom in our time of need. The tragic loss of our precious Matt has been comforted by those who were close to him and that is a testament to what true friends you really are.
Twenty years at FAU, Ten years with Cuong Nhu Karate, and countless years of scuba diving, camping and Kayuba’ing had made him many friends and dive buddies. Plus two individuals who are alive today because he risked his live to save them from the depths of the sea.
Matt had a kind, loving spirit and he would want us to know that he is in a better place, away from the stress and strain of this earthly life… free at last, happy at last.
Just know that it was not his choice to leave us… it was his time.
Be comforted yourselves that he loved each of his friends and hopes that his memory of your friendship remains in your hearts for a very long time.
For those who were unable to attend the Celebration of Life Event held last Monday night I wanted to share the PPS that shows photos of Matt doing the things he loved. Please take a moment and reflect on his life with us.

Love to all

Don’t follow in my footsteps
Don’t feel the pain
Look to the wind
Feel serenity
Look to the trees (or was it the seas?)
